[EventCalendar] Double posts

I'm pretty fresh with event calender. I installed 3.10 today, and i love the
plugin, but I have some problems. When I add a new event it appears in the
calendar both as a future event and as a post with the wordpress timestamp.
This is solved by showing only events in the calendar, but I like to have
previous posts in the calendar too. Is it possible to not show future events
as posts with the wordpress timestamp?
