[EventCalendar] Event creation

Hi,

Fantastic plugin but I have a problem that  is getting me insane. Cannot make an event because all the "event bar" at the bottom is missing, so cant assign a date to the event... I really need this to work. Please help.

I read all the posts I could find about this but cant find any solution.
