[EventCalendar] Still displays events that are "expired"

I'm sure that the functionality is there, but I can't seem to figure it 
out.  I would like to display all events in a category that are upcoming 
and have not occurred already. 

When I click on the categories, it takes me to a list of all the events 
in that category including expired events.  Is there a way to call 
events calendar such that I can display the 5 (or 10, etc) upcoming 
events in a certain category?

Great plugin btw.
