Go to /home/XXXX/public_html/XXX/wp-content/plugins/eventcalendar3/eventcalendar3
(open it), find 29 line (actually look for the line starting with load_plugin_textdomain(...) ) and edit it to look like: //load_plugin_textdomain(...)
Thats it!

As an explanation... load_plugin_textdomain() loads translation strings located in the same directory the file that calles this function is. So we need it for to translate actually ec3.
Your problem looks more like a bad users use of this function. Most probably it is caused by the wrong wp installation (I, read that in track. It was reported 2 years ago, first as a bug than as an error appearing after unpgraded wp installation), as a solution try upgrading your installation (backup, download the latest tarball, or delete all the files except wp-config.php and wp-content from the wordpress directory and reupload those once more. Go to http://.../../wp-admin/upgrade.php, don't forget that! http://codex.wordpress.org/Upgrading_WordPress use this link.). Most bad thing that can happen is your ec3 plugin not look in the same language your wp is.

Good luck!
