[EventCalendar] Event Category Error

I am certain it is the wp-admin tiger plugin (http://orderedlist.com/
wordpress-plugins/wp-tiger-administration/) that does not show the +
sign for the event editor, just added this plugin on my test site and
activated it, and the plus button is gone ... maybe Alex has an idea
what goes wrong with that plugin that keeps ec3 from working
