Importing and syncing are 2 very different things as well.  You would have to have some sort of code to compare the data coming from google calendar with the information in your posts so that you don't start to create millions of duplicates.

two way sync is not (yet) in the cards. 

EC3 does _not_ have an import from ical.  There is one person who has posted code where he wrote an import function.  I haven't tried running it.
