[EventCalendar] EC Query problem

Jim, No problem. The code for my upcomingevents.php page template can be
viewed here <http://paste.balbinus.org/349> . Sorry for the sloppy
formatting.
As for making this query only future events, I'm using URL-based queries as
explained here <http://wpcal.firetree.net/advanced-queries/> . More
specifically, I'm trying to do something like ?ec3_after=today like this:

http://localhost:8888/wordpress/programs-events/upcoming-events/?ec3_after=today

However, it's just not working; upcomingevents.php continues to display all
events, both in the future and in the past. Could it be my trailing forward
slash between upcoming-events and the query? If so, I'll have to wait until
I have access to my work computer to test.

And just to clarify and reiterate: my vision is to use Wordpress as a CMS
and create a site organized like this:

   - A homepage which displays the next upcoming event in one designated
section and the 2 most recent blog entries in another. You can view this
code. <http://paste.balbinus.org/350> to see how I've accomplished this.
   - A Blog section within the interior of the site that will display all
blog entries of the category "News." Currently this is being done with a
custom page template. This is the code <http://paste.balbinus.org/351> .
   - An Events section within the interior of the site that will have 2
child pages: Upcoming Events and Past Events. Again,
here<http://paste.balbinus.org/349>is upcomingevents.php.
   - Various other, more traditional Wordpress pages will also exist in the
global navigation throughout the site, but their content is static.

So...if anyone has any feedback on how I've attempted to achieve this
architecture, that would be great. I recognize that this is a bit of a hack,
as I'm kind of violating Wordpress logic and using a page template as a
blog.

Thanks so much for your response - I hope that helps clarify.
