Hey Cris,

You should be able to use this in your template to pull in events
wherever you want:

<?php ec3_get_events('10') ?>

Alternatively, you could also try using get_posts to get them from
your events category:

<?php global $post;
$
catposts=get_posts('category=1&order=DESC&orderby=date&numberposts=10');
					foreach($catposts as $post):
					setup_postdata($post); ?>
   							<div class="news-post">
   							<h3 class="news-header"><a href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>"
id="post-<?php the_ID(); ?>"><?php the_title(); ?></a></h3>
   							<span class="date">Posted: <?php the_time('F jS, Y'); ?></
span>
   							<div class="post-content"><?php the_excerpt(); ?></div>
   							<div class="entry-utility">
								<span class="cat-links">Posted in <?php the_category(',',
'single'); ?></span>
								<span class="meta-sep">|</span>
								<span class="tag-links"><?php the_tags('Tagged ', ',',''); ?></
span>
								<span class="meta-sep">|</span>
								<span class="comments-link">Comments closed</span>
								<span class="meta-sep">|</span>
								<?php edit_post_link('Edit', '', ''); ?>
							</div>
   							</div>
   					<?php endforeach; ?>

The nice thing about get_posts is you can fully customize what is
displayed and the markup.
